Welcome to Forge Tech Repairs. By using our services, website, or submitting a device for repair, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Forge Tech Repairs provides diagnostic, repair, troubleshooting, upgrade, maintenance, and related technology services for devices including but not limited to:
-Computers and laptops
-Gaming systems
-Mobile devices
-Custom-built systems
-Other consumer electronics
Services may vary depending on device condition, parts availability, and technician assessment.
2. Diagnostic & Repair Authorization
By submitting a device for service, you authorize Forge Tech Repairs to:
- Inspect and diagnose the device
-Perform agreed-upon repairs or services
-Use replacement parts when necessary
-Test devices before and after repair
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding device issues and ownership.
3. Data Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for backing up all data before service.
Forge Tech Repairs is not responsible for:
-Data loss
-Corrupted files
-Software issues
-Lost passwords or account access
-Damage caused by pre-existing device conditions
While reasonable care is taken during service, some repairs may carry unavoidable risks to stored data.
4. Repair Risks
Electronic repairs involve inherent risks. By requesting service, you acknowledge that:
-Devices may have hidden or pre-existing damage
-Certain repairs may fail due to prior conditions
-Water-damaged or physically damaged devices may not be fully recoverable
-Additional issues may appear during or after repair
Forge Tech Repairs cannot guarantee every device can be restored to full functionality.
5. Parts & Warranty
-Replacement Parts
-Replacement parts may include:
-New parts
-Refurbished parts
-Aftermarket components
-OEM components when available
-Part availability and compatibility may vary.
Limited Repair Warranty
Forge Tech Repairs may provide a limited warranty on specific repairs or replacement parts. Warranty coverage:
-Applies only to the repaired issue-
Does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, software problems, or unrelated failures and becomes void if the device is opened or modified by another party after repair.
-Warranty periods, if offered, will be communicated at the time of service.-
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Forge Tech Repairs reserves the right to:
-Refuse device return until payment is received
-Charge diagnostic fees even if repairs are declined
-Charge additional fees for extensive labor, specialty parts, or abandoned devices
7. Abandoned Devices
Devices left unclaimed for more than 30 days after repair completion or customer notification may be considered abandoned.
Forge Tech Repairs reserves the right to:
-Dispose of abandoned devices
-Recycle devices
-Resell devices to recover repair or storage costs where permitted by law
(Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the customer beforehand- VIA: Email, Phone Call, Text Message, etc.)
8. Limitation of Liability
to the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge Tech Repairs shall not be liable for:
-Indirect or incidental damages
-Loss of profits or business
-Data loss
-Device failure due to pre-existing conditions
-Delays caused by suppliers, shipping, or unavailable parts
Liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific repair service.
9. Device Ownership & Fraud Prevention
By submitting a device for repair or sale, you confirm that:
-You are the legal owner of the device
-The device is not stolen
-You have the authority to authorize repair or sale
Forge Tech Repairs reserves the right to refuse service or report suspicious devices to authorities if necessary.
10. Purchased Devices
If Forge Tech Repairs purchases a device from a customer:
-Ownership transfers upon payment
-The seller confirms they legally own the device
-Forge Tech Repairs may inspect, wipe, reset, or resell the device after purchase
11. Website Use
Users of the Forge Tech Repairs website agree not to:
-Attempt unauthorized access to systems
-Submit false information
-Use the website for unlawful purposes
-Copy or redistribute website content without permission
12. Changes to Terms
Forge Tech Repairs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
